My Top 4 Melbourne Burger Venues

With the opening of Bendigo's own Moonlight Market on September 26, I am reminded of the night life of Melbourne that I was fortunate to experience over the previous two years. One of my absolute favourite things to do was to visit food markets, food trucks and delicious local restaurants, who sold mouth watering gourmet burgers!!! Here is a list of some of my favourites in the Melbourne region!
I totally recommend the following:
Beatbox Burger – ‘The Raph’ contains a thick delicious beef pattie along with simple salads. The flavours work so well with each other. Very filling, and they become very addictive. I crave them daily. The vegetarian option ‘The Shroom’ is just as fantastic, where instead they use a large mushroom as the pattie. (The ‘Shroom’ is my favourite). Mr. Burger – I have only had the ‘Mr Burger,’ but because it is so delicious and I cannot stop buying it. They use the traditional elements of a burger: beef, pickles, mustard, tomato, lettuce and cheese. The flavours work so well with each other. Chew Burger – I cannot remember the names for each individual burger, but I have only eaten the beef burger. My burger contained juicy meat with sauce and salad, and was placed inside a brioche bun. Beef in brioche – what a match made in heaven! Mr. Scruffs – What I loved about the Mr. Scruffs burgers was that the bread was soft and the meat was so juicy!! It went really well with the side of chips sprinkled with paprika, the chilli mayo and the apple cider that I drank with it. To also complete it’s epic-ness, everything was half price on the night I was there!
