An Inspirational Young Woman

Only days ago I said goodbye to one of my most dearest friends who has left us for a year to live in Uganda as a missionary. Elly Hunter is fearless and holds such compassion for the people around her. I have had the privledge of knowing her most of my life. I watched her grow from just an infant to a young courageous woman who manifests wisdom much beyond her years. I look up to her as a role model and as an inspiration for myself and all those around me who are old and young. Her determination this week has inspired me to live a fulfilling life of living by faith, to be fearless, to love, and to live my dreams even though they may be hard to achieve. In a recent blog, I spoke about the fact that she established a charity business titled Project Outward with four other young women. I am writing this blog post to alert more people of the charity and to spread the word. Elly has formed her own blog to share with us as she embarks on her year long journey.
